Edna is 1st cousin of Mary Bailey Adair. She has daugther Ginny.

Dear Cousins of Iowa,
We have so much to thank you for. We certainly prize the book you gave us. We should have acknowledged long ago. I thank you too for the Bailey book. Glad you had a nice visit from Jennette. Wish you folks live near enough to run in often. We do have a bird feeding station on our living room window where cardinals do greedily eat our sunflower seeds, jimaca and nuthatches etc. Wish your daughter in Connecticut could get down to see us. Do you suppose they would? You have an unusually lovely family in this world of today. You and Earl have every reason to be proud of them. We'd love to drive out and see your country but we wonder if our old 1937 Buick could make it- I fear it might not. Ginny loved it on our farm in Maine. What I long for her to be in a busy Christmas family where she believes she is one of them sharing the duties inside and out and catch the Christian ideals of every day living. Here is school and play it's so much *** away from what we want for her. It's hard to be an only child too. Love Rowland Edna and Ginny
